"These folks are fantastic!! They did a panel upgrade for us and added several outlets to our older home. I found the communication to be top-notch from beginning to end, in terms of clarity, efficiency, and friendliness. Which is saying something because I must have called 5-6 different electricians when I was initially trying to get quotes for the job and they all were either short with me or never called back. I felt the price they gave us was very competitive and met our expectations. The wait times for the quote and getting the work done were great too, other places were telling me much much longer. I think this is because Power to the People is just that much more efficient, organized, and appropriately staffed compared to other local electrical businesses. The work is great. It's been about a week since it was done and there are no issues whatsoever. The installation looks very professional and well-done. I was also impressed with how clean they left their work areas. It was just a great experience and I'd recommend them to anyone in the Asheville area for their electrical needs!"

"We had fluctuating power issues that were making our lights strobe. Camile in the office was excellent and she got someone out to us the very next day. The guys (Nick and one other, I forgot his name, sorry!) were here for an hour. They diagnosised our issue, resolved the power fluctuations, and installed a dedicated line for our dehumidifier. Our bill came in slightly below our quote which was a nice plus as well. If we have electrical issues in the future, we'll be using Power To The People again."

"Five stars is insufficient!! Power to the People Asheville participated in our minor kitchen remodel. They came in first to correct/modify several wiring issues and install new light fixtures before the installation of the new appliances. Fast forward a few weeks. The appliances come in and are scheduled for installation. The appliance installation folks arrive and have an issue with the new electrical. Called PTTP and they offer to immediately send one of their team to meet with the installation crew. We were lucky that schedules meshed that day. While the PTTP rep was in transit the appliance folks figured out what to do. (Shout out to the appliance installation crew!) But my point here is to ask, who steps up like that these days?? PTTP does!! Impressive. I’m shouting from my rooftop (and I hate heights) reach out to PTTP when you require an electrician. The line actually was run a week before the hot tub was delivered and the owner returned hours after the tub was delivered to hook it up for us so it could be used same day. They did an excellent job at a very reasonable cost (which made it possible for me to have the work done). I asked them to check for anything that might be of concern...which they did and discussed future needs. I am meeting with them again on 4/17/2023 to assess replacement of the rest of the old knob and tube wiring in my 1928 home. They are my go to electrical company now. The only thing I regret is that I didn't leave a review sooner than now."

"I will never again go anywhere else for electrical work. Power to the People did 2 jobs for me recently. The first to upgrade the electrical service to the house and the second was a major rewiring of almost the entire house, replacing old knob and tube in my 1920s craftsman, as well as numerous other improvements. This would normally have been a very stressful project for me, but they made it easy and stress-free. Replacing wiring is inherently invasive but they made every effort to minimize cutting into the walls wherever they could. They checked in with me at the beginning and end of every day to go over what was coming next and make sure I was ok with their plans. They presented options for any tricky situations. I overheard the lead electrician regularly communicating to those he was working with regarding how to do everything properly and making sure they understood my preferences. I spent the first couple of days regularly checking on things to make sure it was all going well but I became so confident in the quality of their work that I stopped worrying and was able to focus on my day job while they took care of the electrical. Also they were exceptionally nice to my cats!"

"We bought a new dryer and then came to realize that the 220V outlet that we planned to use was not working. Our very old house has had many electrical surprises. Power to the People quickly identified the problem and was able to fix it quickly. He also noted that the external power line needed to be updated. "Needed to have a water heater and pipes replaced. The new water heater needed to be relocated and in the process the plumber came across what appeared to be a 'hot' wire. Andrew came and installed a fan/light in my bathroom, updated some outlets, installed a fan in my living room, and replaced old kitchen lighting with can lights.
